Arrests made by county officers

OREGON COUNTY -- Warmer weather brings more criminal activity, and officers with the Oregon County Sheriff's Department were kept busy last week.

Invin L. Redus, 48, of Gatewood was arrested on warrants for two charges of domestic assault. He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to be in Oregon County Associate Circuit Court June 11.

Michael N. Ivy, 18, his brother, Gary D. Ivy, 19, and James A. Watson, 19, all of Tennessee, were arrested last weekend and each charged with minor in possession of intoxicants. Each teenager paid a $182.50 fine and was released.

Rick L. Warren, 33, of Aurora, Ill., was arrested by Oregon County officers on an Illinois warrant for a bad check charge. He posted $500 bail and is scheduled to be in court July 30 in Illinois.

Michael C. Spurlock, 20, of Alton was charged with driving while intoxicated. He posted a $500 bail and will be in court in Alton July 2.

David W. Adams, 36, of Jefferson City, was arrested on charges of felony driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. Adams posted a $3,000 bail and is to be in associate court July 2.
