Dacia Marie Yancey, 23, of Mountain Home, died Sept. 12, 2002, at a hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born Sept. 13, 1978 to Larry Duane and Martha Ann Elliott Yancey in Port Charlotte, Fla.Survivors are her parents, Larry and Martha Yancey of the home; two brothers, Larry Duane Yancey Jr., of Poughkeepsie, and Remmel "Bo" Yancey of the home; one sister, Tara Lynn Yancey Ross of Mountain Home; paternal grandparents, R. W. and Loretta Yancey of Smithville; five paternal uncles, Gerry and wife, Debbie Yancey of Fayetteville, Glenn and wife, Midge Yancey of Biloxi, Miss., Roy Yancey of Oklahoma, Bill Yancey of South Bend, Ind., and Jimmy Yancey of Wena-tchee, Wash.; one paternal uncle and aunt, Darrell and Mearl Bennett of Mountain Home; two maternal uncles, David Caffee and Charlie Caffee both of Florida; one maternal aunt, Annette Hubbard of Oklahoma; one neice Taleah Ross, and two nephews, Kaleb Ross and Dalton Jones all of Mountain Home; one cousin, Lance Yancey; and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Franklin Elliott Jr. and Gesna Marie Watts.Services were Sept. 16, at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Calico Rock with Pastor Laurie J. DeWitt officiating. Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery near Norfork with arrangments under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Melbourhne.Pallbearersa were Edwin Yancey, Bill Yancey, Coy Yancey, Lance Yancey, Darrell Bennett and Richard Gerber.
