Miller headed to the diamond at Williams Baptist College

Andy Miller of Melbourne will play baseball next year for Williams Baptist College. Miller, a 2004 graduate of Melbourne High School, signed his commitment with the Eagles in a June 18 ceremony.

Miller played third base and outfield for the Bearkatz. He had a .373 batting average with two home runs his senior year, and he had a .437 on-base percentage. Miller posted a .400 batting average with one home run during his junior year.

Miller helped Melbourne to the Class AA Region 3 semi-finals this year.

Miller is the son of James and Janie Miller. Present for Miller's signing at WBC were his parents and WBC head baseball coach John Katrosh.

Williams is a four-year college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
