Alice May Stone, of Camp, daughter of the late George Wesley Moore and Bertie Effie Gann Moore, was born June 28, 1929, in Rover, Mo. She died Oct. 3, 2007, at Fulton County ?Hospital in Salem at the age of 78.
She was united in marriage to Otho Stone in December 1967 in West Plains, Mo. She was employed at Tri-County Shirt Company in Salem for many years. She was a member of the Salem Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: her children, Louise Ryan of Jonesboro, Bill Stone of Trumann, Barbara Wood of Bexar, Douglas Stone of Lake City, Mary Wallace of Marmaduke, Larry Stone of Camp, Janice King of Camp, Genice McGill of Bono and Theressa Walker of Mountain Home; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; four special nephews, Kenny Moore, Wesley Moore, Bob Baker and Bill Baker; and host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Robert Stone; three great-grandchildren; seven brothers; three sisters; and her father and mother.
Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at the Salem Assembly of God with burial following in the Camp Cemetery. Arrange-ments were under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
