Delphia Edith Crawford Wisehart, 85, of Wentzville, Mo., was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Oregon County, Mo., the daughter of the late Grover Hollis and Mary Emmer Honeycutt Hollis. She died Sept. 30, 2004, in Lake St. Louis, Mo. She was married in 1941, in Oregon County, Mo., to Denver Crawford. She was later united in marriage in 1966, in St. Louis, to Fred Wisehart. She was a homemaker and was employed by Universal Match Company for several years.
She was member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Mo., and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Richey and husband, Ron, of Wentzville, Mo.; two granddaughters -- Ronda Meyer and husband, Paul, of O'Fallon, Mo., and Shannon Richey of St. Peters, Mo.; and one great-granddaughter, Kayla Meyer of O'Fallon, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands -- Denver Crawford and Fred Wisehart; four brothers -- Leonard, Elza, Noah and Duck Hollis; and three sisters -- Ada Janes, Elva Campbell and Ruth Caldwell.
The funeral service was Oct. 3 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with the Rev. Clarence Burton and the Rev. Steve Burton officiating. Burial was in the Thayer Cemetery.
