OREGON COUNTY -- Two Mammoth Spring men have been sent to the Arkansas Department of Corrections at Wrightsville after pleading guilty to stealing and felony burglary charges in Thayer.

Wesley L. Roberts, 19, and Thomas A. Musgrove, 21, both of Mammoth Spring, were convicted in the 2003 burglary of Clarks Auto Salvage, Tire Town and Jewell's Auto Repair all of Thayer.

A BB gun and cash register with $90 inside was taken from Clark's Auto Salvage, a cash register with $70 was taken from Tire Town, and a car radio was taken from Jewell's Auto Repair. Both cash registers were found a short distance from the businesses not long after the break-ins. Oregon County Sheriff Tim Ward said the cash registers had been broken into and the money removed.

Musgrove was in court two weeks ago in Oregon County and was found guilty of the charges. Roberts pleaded guilty in Oregon County Circuit Court Sept. 29 and was transported to jail in Arkansas the end of last week.

A Thayer man accused of making a sale to an undercover narcotics agent with the South Central Drug Task Force faces felony drug charges.

Joshua D. Terrill, 24, of Thayer is charged with selling approximately three pounds of suspected marijuana to the officer. The suspected drug was sent to the Troop G testing lab and tested positive as marijuana. A court date has not yet been scheduled for Terrill.
