The third annual Powder Puff Football Game will kick off at Thayer high School Oct. 11 at 6:00.
The Powder Puff game is an event in which the girls of Thayer High play flag football to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Coaches of the green team will be Dustin Hatterman and Andrew Eckman, while the white team will be coached by Brandon Cotham, Carl Hunter and Cody Hollis.
Cheerleaders for the game will be boys from Thayer High School. At halftime there will be a Powder Puff King crowned, with winners picked by a penny vote in cans set out during lunch and homeroom prior to the game. Also, there will be a special performance at halftime from the Powder Puff cheerleaders.
All donations from the game will go to St. Jude's. Last year's game raised over $450.
Anyone interested in donating, or helping out can call Nikki Cunningham or Janey Thompson at 417-264-7261.
