Ernest Glen "Jack" Pingleton, 69, of Pocahon-tas, Ark., died May 28, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Thayer, Mo., the son of Issie Bell Combs Pingleton and John Andrew Pingleton. He was owner of Jack's Wholesale and he served 30 years in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a son, Ernest Glen "Chuka" Pingleton Jr., of Alpine, Calif.; two daughters -- Marguerite "Muggsy" Farquhar of Alphine, Calif., and Denise Ann Gonzalez of Poca-hontas, Ark.; a brother, Grover Pingleton of Thayer, Mo.; four sisters -- Joyce Mills of Wichita, Kan., Lorene Pohnert and Helen Underwood both of Thayer, and Martha Vranes of Portland, Ore.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was May 31 at McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas with Gaylon Russell and William Richmond officiating.
Burial was in the Harmony Cemetery at Pocahontas with arrangements under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home, with military honors.
