Arnold Riley, 62, of Detroit, Texas, formerly of Thayer, Mo., was born Nov. 17, 1942, in Thayer, Mo., the son of the late Wilson Thomas Riley and Waltie Euna Roy Riley. He died April 16, 2005, in Paris, Texas.
He was united in marriage May 18, 1968, in Thayer to Linda McWorkman. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a truck driver. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home in Detroit, Texas; one daughter, Georgiana Emo and husband, Jim of Norman, Okla.; two sons -- Tom Riley and wife, Michelle, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jared Riley of Monette, Mo.; two grandchildren -- Austin Riley and Cheyenne Emo; one brother, Lester Riley and wife, Regina, of Thayer; three sisters -- Louella Satterfield and husband, Aaron, of S. James, Mo., Roberta Mahaney and husband, Jerry, of Rolla, Mo., and Donita Rinearson and husband Randy, of Vilonia, Ark.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Jordan Patrick Riley.
The funeral service was held April 20 at Spring River Baptist Church in Hardy, Ark., with Bro. Floyd Rikard officiating. Burial was in the Bronaugh Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer, Mo.
