Edna Thomas Estes Woodall, of Hartford, Mich., formerly of Agnos, Ark., died Aug. 15, 2003, at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, Mich. She was surrounded by all of her children.

She was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Agnos. After receiving her teacher's license Aug. 15, 1931, with the help and assistance of Velmar Burton, well known educator and business manager and also an Agnos native, she was a school teacher for several years; and lived the last 50 years in Harrford, Mich.

Survivors include her children -- Mae (Paul) Balasick of South Haven, Mich., Treva (Frank) Montgomery of Hartford, Mich., Boyd (Bonnie) Estes of Wirth, Ark., Faye (Brad) Waldrop of Hartford, Mich., Jean (Dan) Burlingham of Hartford, Mich., Dale (Ruth) Estes of South Haven, Mich., and Sharon (Dan) Woodall-Asaro of Hartford; her grandchildren -- Dennis Linderman, Mick Linderman, Ron Mont-gomery, Gail Montgomery, Tim Montgomery, GaVonna Estes, Donna Estes, Ronna Estes, Danny Shoff, David Shoff, Debbie Shoff, Denise Shoff, Steve Deckard, Felicia Deck-ard, Joe Deckard, Timmy Deckard, Katrina Deckard, Diane Estes, Deanna Estes, and Ami Asaro; 40 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers -- Bill and Boyd Thomas of Jonesboro; and several close and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy G. Estes and her second husband, Bill Woodall; her parents, L. W. (Wash) and Lina Sparkman Thomas; a sister, Wilma Thomas Tate, and a brother, Floyd Ulmen Thomas.

The funeral was Aug. 18, at Hartford Federated Church with Pastor Timothy Nyhuis and Pastor John Busch officiating. Burial was in North Shore Memory Gardens, Hagar Shores.
