McIntosh, Locklear to unite in marriage

Ernest and Carrie McIntosh of Elizabeth have announced the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Crystal Noel McIntosh, to Steven Michael Locklear.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eldon and Ellen Scott of Elizabeth, the late Ernest McIntosh Sr. and the late Mada Moore.

She is a 1997 graduate of Viola High School. She received her bachelor's degree from College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Mo., in December 2002. She will teach English and journalism at Gurdon (Ark.) High School in the fall.

The prospective groom is the son of Barbara Hudgens of Magnolia and the late Troy Locklear. His stepfather is Lewis Hudgens of Magnolia. He is the grandson of Tillman and Annette Hunter of Magnolia, S. H. "Buddy" Locklear of Carlsbad, N.M., and the late Polly Locklear.

A 2001 graduate of College of the Ozarks with a degree in aviation science, he is employed by Henderson State University in Arkadelphia as an aviation mechanic.

The wedding will be at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Camden, Ark. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

The couple will reside at Gurdon.
