Wanda Lee Johnson, 75, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., was born Jan. 19, 1928, at Leachville, Ark.
She died Jan. 7, 2004, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
She was united in marriage to Tommy A. Johnson on Dec. 6, 1947, at Lake City, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Johnson of Mammoth Spring; four sons -- Thomas David Johnson of Greenway, Ark., Albert Daniel Johnson, John Douglas Johnson and Leroy Donald Johnson all of Mammoth Spring; two daughters -- Wanda Diane Barker of Mammoth Spring and Anita Debra Wells of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; 13 grandchildren -- Shelly Justus, Ray Barker, Tommy W. Johnson, Melinda Hobbs, Rebecca Allison, Janet Smoot, Robin VanGinhoven, Jack Wells, Andrea Noblett, Beverly Goans, Jennifer Crowe, Bradley Johnson and Kimberly Johnson; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Amos George Thompson of Rector, Ark., and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents -- Horace Harrison and Bessie Ann Bell Thompson; one brother, David Thompson; and three sisters -- Emogene Burks, Maxine Turner and Pauline Finley.
The funeral service was Jan. 9, 2004, at the Clary Chapel in Mammoth Spring with Rick Ragsdale officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Mammoth Spring with arrangements under the direction of Clary Funeral Home of Mammoth Spring.
Pallbearers were Ray Barker, Chuck Crowe, Jack Wells, Devon Smoot, Richard VanGinhoven and Sonny Wede.
Honorary pallbearers were Brad Johnson, Eddie Goans, Jon Noblett, Tommy Wayne Johnson, Roger Hobbs and Steve Justus.
