Lois Nadine Hester, 83, of Huntsville, Ark., died Oct. 4, 2007, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 5, 1924, at Kansas City,?Mo., the daughter of Bathes and Maggie Combs Roe.

She was a retired beautician, a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include: her husband, Ray Hester of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Lafevers of Russellville, Ark.; one brother, Bill Roe of Smithville, Mo.; one sister, Lucile ?Hatman of Salem, Ark.; one gandson and granddaughter-in-law, Lance and Stephanie Lafevers of Hot Springs, Ark.; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Leslie and Todd Boles of Russellville, Ark.; and three great-grandsons, Layton Lafevers of Hot Springs, Jacob Boles and Alec Boles both of Russellville.

She was preceded in death by: one brother, Raymond Roe; and by one sister, Marie Marlin.

Funeral services were held Oct. 8, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ark., with Larry Combs, minister, officiating.

Graveside services were held at the Viola Cemetery in Viola, Ark., wth Gary Parker officiating.

The funeral arrangments were under the direction of Brashear's Funeral Home of Huntsville.
