Maudie Ann Long, daughter of the late Jacob Smith and Molly Tucker Smith, was born Sept. 7, 1908, in Mammoth Spring, Ark., and died Jan. 27, 2004, in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 95 years.
She married Arthur Raymond Long Sept. 9, 1934, in Agnos, Ark.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters -- Eva Joe Williams of Little Rock, Ark., and Claudia Willison of Mammoth Spring, Ark.; six grandchildren -- Christy Kinsey of Sherwood, Ark., Tamera Long and Barry Williams of Little Rock, Debbie Rose of Mammoth Spring, Delores Allen of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Rick Willison of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren -- Devin Long of Little Rock, Holly Willison and Amanda Willison of Walnut Ridge, and Mark Jeffrey Allen of Poplar Bluff, Mo.'
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers -- Sam, Dave, Lee and Tommy Smith; and four sisters -- Marlena Smith, Lizzie Dillard, Effie Willison and Becky Martin.
Services were Jan. 31, 2004, at the Mammoth Spring Church of Christ with Ted Clarke officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Mammoth Spring with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer, Mo.
Pallbearers were Steve Russell, J.C. Caldwell, Dewey Plunkett, Steve Simers, Ken Royster and Jerry French.
