Donald Kenneth Miller Jr., son of the late Donald Kenneth Miller Sr., and Louise Simpson Miller, was born Nov. 6, 1955, in St. Louis, Mo., and died Jan. 19, 2004, in West Plains, Mo. at the age of 48 years.
He was a graduate of SMS and was employed by SEI for 25 years. His hobbies were many, including collecting hot wheels, photography and car racing. He was a member of Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge 327 in West Plains, Mo., and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Louise Miller of Alton, Mo.; a special friend, Susan Armstrong of West plains; a brother, Jim Barton of Alton; two sisters -- Ann Cline of Fenton, Mo., and Laverne Robbins of Grassy, Mo.; several nieces and nephews and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral was Jan. 22 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Mo., with The Rev. James Ray and the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial was in Bailey Chapel Cemetery at Alton, Mo., with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
Pallbearers were David Bense, David Case, Perry Bennett, Doug Boze and Keith Garrison. Honorary pallbearer was Tom Knotwell.
