R.C. Bullock, 60, of Thayer, Mo., was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Thayer, Mo., the son of the late Daniel and Ruby (Pierce)?Bullock. He died March 18, 2008, at his home.
He was united in marriage to Rose Richardson on Aug. 28, 1981, in Thayer, Mo., who survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Nicole Temple and husband, Larry of Marshfield, Mo., and Kim Treat of Batesville, Ark.; one sister, Bessie Harrison of Mammoth Spring, Ark.; one brother, Charles Bullock of Meridian, Miss.; three grandsons, Cody and Brandon of Marshfield, Mo., and Justin of Batesville; one granddaughter, Amber of Batesville; and numerous other relatives and friends.
R.C. was a lifetime resident of Thayer, Mo. He served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968, including doing a tour of duty in Vietnam.
He started his occupation as an auto mechanic working with Leonard Janes and in 1983, started his own auto mechanic business. He was a member of the Cave Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Daniel and Ruby Bullock; two brothers, Robbie and John Bullock; and one sister, Betty Harnden.
Funeral services were held March 21 in the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, Mo., with Bro. Richard Todd officiating. Interment followed in the Cave Springs Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer.
Pallbearers were William Bullock, Dwayne Bullock, Larry Temple Jr. Parrott, Rick Saunders and Jim Martin. Honorary pallbearer was Olen Russell.
