A two-vehicle accident in Thayer April 9 left a Koshkonong woman with minor injuries. According to Thayer Chief of Police Frank Bernard, the accident occurred at South Seventh and Pine Streets at 2:35 p.m. He said Opal York, 25, of Thayer was driving a 1996 Geo Prizm when she ran a stop sign striking a 1998 Ford truck driven by Larry Harris, 62, of Koshkonong. A passenger in the Harris vehicle, Beverly Harris, was transported by Fulton County Ambulance to the Fulton County Hospital at Salem. York was ticketed for no proof of insurance, driving while license revoked, failure to yield right-of-way and running a stop sign. She posted bond of $872 and was given a court date of May 13.
