Born 7-15-1913 -- Died 9-22-2007

Harry A. England was born July 15, 1913, in Many Islands, Ark., and died Sept. 22, 2007, at his home near Mammoth Spring, Ark., at the age of 94.

He was a life-long livestock farmer and will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring.

He was united in marraige March 11, 1941, at Mammoth Spring to Alberta Dianna Davis.

He is survived by: his wife, Alberta of the family home; three daughters, Larein Young and husband,?Louis, Laverne Risner and husband,?James and Lajune Romans, all of Mammoth Spring; four grandsons, Harry Young and wife Shelia, Marty Young and wife Janet, Bryan Risner and wife, Niki, all of Mammoth Spring and Brent Risner and wife Tina, of Myrtle, Mo.; two granddaughters, Lanae Young and Lanette Romans, both of Mammoth Spring; one step-granddaughter; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Orphis England and wife, Beulah of Hardy, Ark.; one sister, Carrie Minor of Louisville, Texas; one sister-in-law, Eula Mae England of Salem, Ark.; several nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one grandson, Bradley Allen Risner; one son-in-law, Glen Dale Romans; one brother, Ira T. England; and one infant sister.

Funeral services were held Sept. 26 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Mo., with Jimmy Lemmonds officiating. Burial followed in the England Cemetery near Mammoth Spring with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
