Robert Willard Pringle, 84, of Ash Flat died July 12, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Pringle was born March 27, 1922, in Scranton, Pa., the son of Robert E. Pringle and Mary (Newton) Pringle.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the infantry during World War II. He served during the Rome Campaign under General George Patton.
He served as a high priest for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Mormon Tabernacle.
He was a member of the Sportsman's Club and the VFW, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the Arizona Sheriffs Association.
Survivors include his wife, Ela Pringle of the home four sons, Bruce, Brent and Robert "Bobby" Pringle, all of Iowa; and Bryan Pringle of Arizona; three daughters, Dianne, Gail and Sandra Pringle, all of Pennsylvania; one sister, Betty Urquhart of Arizona and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The funneral arrangements will be under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
