Dr. Billy Edward Lane, age 74, of Ash Flat, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, in Salem, Ark.
Dr. Lane attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He worked in his practice for 45 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Glenda of the home; four sons, Charles Dalton Lane of Jonesboro, Monte Lane of Ash Flat, Curtis Lane of Paragould and Wendell Lane of Cherokee Village; two daughters, Sherry Cook of Jacksonville and Melissa Jenkins of Ash Flat; one brother, Albert Lane of Horseshoe Bend; one sister, Betty Jones of Ash Flat; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rothel and Edna (Thomas) Lane; one brother, Herbert Lane; and one sister, Bobby Green.
Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at the Heath Oak Hill Chapel with Bro. Mike Stanley officiating. Interment followed at Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home of Highland.
