Mr. and Mrs. Max Hill of Highland announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elana, to Michael James Sprague, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Sprague of Jacksonville, Fla.
The bride elect graduated from Highland High School as valedictorian. She received her bachelor of arts degree with honors from the University of Arkansas and received her juris doctor degree from the University of Colorado Law School.
While at the University of Arkansas, Hill was president of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, chosen by the university to be one of 10 Razorback classics and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Hill is an attorney for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Austin, Texas.
Sprague is a graduate of West Morris Central High School in Chester, N.J. He received his bachelor of arts degree with honors from Messiah College in Harrisburg, Penn., graduating Magna Cum Laude. Sprague is the human resource manager of a company in Austin, Texas.
Wedding vows will be exchanged April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. A reception will follow at The Austin Club.
