Reba Faye Williams Evans, 86, of Sidney, Ark., died Sept. 1, 2005, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Sept. 25, 1918, at Needmore, Ark., to Bill and Pearl Marlin Williams.
She was united in marriage in 1939 to Ray Evans. She was retired from the Sharp Nursing Home at Sidney, a homemaker and a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church at Mount Pleasant.
Survivors include one son, W.C. Evans of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren -- Russell Evans and Phillip Edwards, both of Mount Pleasant, Matthew Edwards and Tabatha Higgins, both of Sidney; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray Evans.
The funeral service was held Sept. 3 at the Corner Stone Baptist Church with Bro. Elvis Sneathern officiating.
Burial followed in the Yeager Cemetery at Needmore with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were Russell Evans, Phillip Edwards, Matthew Edwards, John Higgins, Trey Hill and Michael Evans.
