Linda Cooper of Salem will graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in human resource development from the University of Arkansas. She is a senior in the distance learning program offered by the College of Education and Health Professions.
The students in this program attend distance learning classes at local host universities and community colleges around the state, coming to Fayetteville once each semester for advising and to attend a class on campus. They must be employed full-time and have five years' work experience to enroll in the degree program.
Linda Cooper is Head Start director for Northcentral Arkansas Development Council. She is married to Johnny Cooper and is the daughter of Inez Hupaylo.
