No nails, no screws ...

Thursday, April 20, 2006

Fixing the roof: Michael Brown, owner of Tri-State Roofing in Mammoth Spring, works with an on-site roll former. The roll former forms the metal sheets that will replace the current roof on the Fulton County Senior Center. Brown said the new roof will not have any screws, but will instead clip together. He said it will save the use of 12,000 screws, each of which is a potential leak. The current tin roof is being replaced by 24-gauge copper color steel and should be completed within two to three more weeks, Brown said. Photo/Price
