A Batesville man is being held by authorities after an arrest at a sobriety checkpoint April 7 in Izard County.
Johnny Dee Teague Jr., 27, of Batesville is charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a class C felony; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, a class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a class C felony; and driving while intoxicated.
Teague is also charged with driving without a valid drivers license and had an outstanding warrant from another county.
Teague is currently being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $25,000 cash bond.
Clayton Doyle Henderson, 24, of Oxford, a passenger in Teague's vehicle, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Henderson was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a bond of $1,110 on all charges.
Darren Edward Smith, 32, of Gepp is charged with failure to appear on charges that include driving while intoxicated, no vehicle license and driving left of center.
Smith is also subject to a bench warrant for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. His bond has been set at $25,000 cash.
Smith is also held on a violation of probation from Craighead County and failure to pay warrant from Poinsett County.
