Betty Sue Cate Hall, 76, of Cherokee Village died May 11, 2006, at her residence. She was a former resident of West Memphis, Ark.
Hall was born in Forrest City, Ark., on May 3, 1930, the daughter of Ottie and Ethel Mahan Cate. She was a homemaker who loved to arrange flowers and was the former Chairman of the Crittenden Republican Party for many years. She was a member of the Timely Club, Hardy Garden Club and Hardy United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Adrain Hall of Cherokee Village; daughters Susan Cate Hall of Bartlett, Tenn., Martha Hall Jackson of Nashville, Tenn., and Elizabeth Hall Griggs of Cordova, Tenn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Francis Marion Cate; and one sister, Azalea Cate Larson.
A memorial service was held May 15 at Hardy United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Rhodes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Hardy United Methodist Church.
