The golden anniversary celebration of William A. Dub and Ina Jennings Ramsey will be held Sept. 3, at Ozarka College in Melbourne from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch served at noon.
The couple were married Sept. 3 1955, in Harrison in the home of her late aunt and uncle, Joe E. and Lela Exum Arnold. The late Rev. Hugh Cooper officiated at the ceremony.
The event will be hosted by children and grandchildren, Risa Ramsey Ralph and husband, Col. Steve Ralph IV, USMC, and daughter, Faith Genevieve, of Cordova, Tenn., Arnold J. and wife, Kimberly Bradshaw Ramsey, and children, Lauren Elizabeth and Brant William of Cary, N.C.
Dub and Ina are graduates of Violet Hill High School and Melbourne High School, respectively. They worked 34 years in public schools in Arkansas and Missouri where he was school counselor. After retirement they are making their home in Melbourne.
