Junior Lee Lindsey, 83, of Cave City, Ark., died Saturday, Oct. 27 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Newport, Ark., the son of Roe and Nola Mae (Gifford) Lindsey.
He was a retired farmer, timber worker and construction worker.
Survivors include: his wife of 31 years, Sudie Thomas Lindsey of the home; one step-son, Harold Patterson of Redfield, Ark.; two step-daughters, Martha Patterson of San Jose, Calif., and Bonnie Liggett of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Calvin Lindsey of Evening Shade and Gene Lindsey of Pfeiffer; one sister, Royce Reding of Sidney; eight step-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one step-son, Joe Flinn; one brother, Hubert Lindsey; one sister, Lois Barber, and two nephews, John Lindsey and Jay Reding.
Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial followed in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Josh Reding, Tim Lindsey, Richard Barber, Gary Lindsey, Jason Patterson and Harold Patterson.
