Danny Travis Wooldridge, 58, of Cave City, Ark., died Jan. 16, 2006, at his home.
He was born May 31, 1947, at Cave City, Ark. the son of Grover "Dattie" and Ruth Aurora Kerr Wooldridge.
He was a farmer and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Story Wooldridge of the home; one son, Chad Wooldridge of Cave City, one daughter, Gwen Meeks of Cave City; one step-son Alex Chandler of Cave City; his mother, Ruth Woolridge of Cave City; three sisters, Carolyn Mobley of St. Louis, Mert Matlock of Cave City, and Becky Riley of Batesville; four grandchildren, Rustin Wooldridge and Lindsey Wooldridge, Paden Day and Carson Day, all of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover "Dattie" Wooldridge; his first wife, Diann Mobley Wooldridge; and one brother, Donald "Sonny" Wooldridge.
The funeral service was held Jan. 19 at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Boyce Johnson and Larry Morris officiating.
Burial followed in the Palestine Cemetery west of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers included Gerald Provence, Von Matlock, Thurlow Turner, David Turner, John McSpadden and Billy Doyle.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Riley, Scott Meeks, Paden Day, Carson Day, Rustin Woolridge and John Mobley.
