Robert Eldon Adams, of Viola, Ark., son of Jesse Ralph Adams and the late Fern Berdella Klaugs Adams, was born April 7, 1940 in Carlinville, Ill.
He died Dec. 6, 2005, at his home at the age of 65 years.
He was married to Joanna Pruett on Aug. 6, 1990, at Gainesville, Mo.
He spent his working years as a husband, father, grandfather and a stone mason.
He was a member of the Potter's Baptist Church where he preached.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna Adams of Viola; three sons, Michael Adams of Campbellsville, Ky., Mark Adams of Campbellsville, Ky., and Aaron Adams of Maquokaita, Iowa; two daughters, Teresa Coleman of Davenport, Iowa, and Amanda Gott of Strafford, Mo., father and stepmother, Jesse and Naiola Adams of Orange City, Fla.; three half-brothers, Chester Adams of Nilwood, Ill., Mike Adams of Boise, Idaho, and Pat Adams of Boise, Idaho; a step-sister, Lina Harper of Orange City, Fla. a half-sister, Carolyn Adams of Nilwood, Ill.; an aunt, Doris Stolle of Springfield, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
