Brown, Browning to marry

Larry and Donna Brown of Salem have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Brown of Jonesboro to Christopher Browning of Jonesboro, son of Charles and Peggy Browning of Melbourne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marie Harber-Collie of Mountain Home and the late Neil Collie, the late Lowell Harber, and the late Ed and Zora Brown.

Lindsey is a 2001 graduate of Salem High School and is employed by Stricker Law Firm in Jonesboro.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Totsie Wood of Melbourne and the late Wayne Wood and the late Laura and Orval Browning.

Christopher is a 2001 graduate of Izard County Consolidated School and is employed by 3 R Cars in Jonesboro.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at Salem First Baptist Church. Following the ceremony a reception will be held in the fellowship hall of the church. The couple invites all family and friends to join them in their wedding celebration.
