Edna F. White, 85, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Dec. 30, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1920, in Freeburg, Ill., the daughter of the late Edward P . Kolb and Emma Schanz Kolb.
She was united in marriage to Medford "Whitey" White on Jan. 8, 1948, in Mascoutah, Ill.
She moved to Cherokee Village five years ago from Mascoutah.
She was a member of Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Sheila and Byron Vowell of Paragould, Ark., and Iris and Daniel Johnson of Cherokee Village; one stepdaughter, Rosemary Bradley of Paoli, Ind.; two grandchildren, Corey Doner of Mascoutah, Ill., and Christopher Vowell of Paragould; four stepgrandchildren, Brian Vowell of San Francisco, Calif., Guy Edward Roberts, Shawn Michael Roberts, and Dawn Michelle Roberts, all of Bedford, Ind.; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Dominic Doner of Missouri; three step-great-grandchildren, LaShawna Roberts, Ethan Roberts and Shawn Michael Roberts Jr., all of Bedford, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one grandson, Steven Brown.
The funeral service was held Jan. 2, 2006, at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland, Ark., with Tom O'Neal officiating.
Burial followed on Jan. 3 at the Valhalla Gardens in Belleville, Ill.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Cherokee Chapel of Highland, Ark.
