Rexall Williams, of Salem, son of the late Samuel Audra and Ada Mae Mitchell Williams was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Mitchell, Ark. He died Oct. 29, 2005, at West Plains, Mo. at the age of 80 years.
He was married to Theda Pauline Moore on May 7, 1945, at Lawrence, Kan. He spent his working years as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and worked for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant, Bendix Corporation and retired from Yellow Freight Company. He was a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Williams of Salem; two daughters, Christine Billings and husband, Bob, of Shawnee, Kan., and Judy Martineau and husband, Clark, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three brothers, Devoe Williams of Salem, Duane Williams of Mitchell, Ark., and Max Williams of Brockwell, Ark.; two sisters, Lucille Wist of Lakeview, Ark.; and Sharon Williams of Mountain Home; six grandchildren, Amy Shubkagel and husband, Sam, Jacob Maddox and wife, Jackie, Sarah Martineau, Carrie Redway and husband, Doug, Andrew Martineau, and Steven Martineau; two great-grandchildren, Kiki and Jordan; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Roger Ralph Williams.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 2 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Coleman officiating. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery at Mitchell, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were David Williams, Mark Williams, Dwight Williams, Eldon Mitchell, Donald Mitchell and Ronnie Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Carmen Sanders, Beeler Sanders, Curtis Shrable and Jackie Rowden.
Memorials preferred to Hebron Cemetery Association, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
