Ina Mae Ford Walker, 84, of Batesville, died Nov. 25, 2005 in Batesville. She was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Sidney, the son of the late George W. Ford and Nettie Jane Carpenter Ford.
She was a retired nurse's aid and had worked at North Arkansas Clinic. She was a member and was active in West Baptist Church and also enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Gaither of Batesville and Lena Hall of Glencoe, Ark.; two sisters, Nancy Mitchell of Batesville and Fannie Dodd of Russellville; four grandchildren, Shayne Gaither, Kyle Gaither, Byron Price and Blake Turner and two step-grandchildren, Derek Hall and Dustin Hall; six great-grandchildren, Jacob Gaither, Rebecca Gaither, Sami Jo Price, Preston Price, Madi Mae Price and Matt Hall and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.B. Walker; one grandson, Brent Price; five brothers, Clarence, Claude, Carl, Lester and Noel Ford; and four sisters, Lola Wiles, Edna Dale, Alma Dobbins and Veta White.
The funeral service was held Nov. 26 at West Baptist Church with Bob Dailey and Alvin Wiles officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney with arrangements under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers were Shayne Gaither, Kyle Gaither, Byron Price, Blake Turner, Derek Hall and Dustin Hall.
Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Gaither, Rebecca Gaither, Sami Jo Price, Preston Price, Madi Mae Price and Matt Hall.
Memorials preferred to West Baptist Church, 1100 N. Central, Batesville, AR 72501.
