At a bankwide meeting held Sept. 27, Martin Carpenter, CEO and board chairman of FNBC, presented Janetta Goings with a bouquet of roses to honor her 35 years of service with FNBC. Goings, assistant vice president and data processing team leader at FNBC, was also honored with a "Janetta Goings Day" at the FNBC Ash Flat location.
All bank employees had a jean day Sept. 30 and Ash Flat employees participated in a potluck lunch. Goings began her career with the bank in 1970 as the sixth employee at the downtown location of what was then the Bank of Ash Flat. Since then, FNBC has grown to 10 locations, over 140 employees and assets of over $300 million.
