Paul Miller Motors helped raise $260 for the Ozarka College Foundation through Chrysler's popular charity golf program, Drive for the Chrysler, at Ozarka's annual Foundation Golf Benefit. The tournament was held at Coopers Hawk Golf Club Oct. 1. Chrysler offered a Chrysler 300 as the hole-in-one prize car and provided additional tournament awards.
The Chrysler Group provided two of the Chrysler 300 vehicles for golfers and guests to test drive at their convenience throughout the day. For every test drive completed at the tournament, Chrysler made a $5 donation to the Ozarka College Foundation. A gift of golf balls was given to each driver as Chrysler's way of saying "thank you" to participants.
Paul Miller Motors, local sponsor of the event, supplied the vehicles, and owner Paul Miller and his wife Treva played in the Ozarka Golf Tournament, as they have been longtime supporters of Ozarka College. "Drive for the Chrysler charity tournaments are mutually beneficial," explained Miller. "The Ozarka Foundation was able to raise additional funds, and we were pleased to promote our products through a program that supports such a worthwhile cause. We thoroughly enjoy our involvement with the golf benefit each year."
Chrysler has a long-standing interest in golf and sponsors the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, Chrysler Classic of Greensboro, Chrysler Classic of Tucson, Chrysler Championship of Tampa and Drive for the Chrysler. Chrysler and its dealer network support amateur golf and numerous charities in communities across the country through the Drive for the Chrysler program.
