Geneva K. Riggs, age 75, of Poughkeepsie, Ark., died Dec. 4, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born March 21, 1931, a Big Flat, Ark., the daughter of the late Walter Carvin and Emma Rentha (Sisk) Wilson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Peaceful Harbor Pentecostal Church in Batesville.
Survivors include her husband, Kermit Riggs of the home; two sons, Jimmy Riggs of Poughkeepsie and Logan Riggs of Batesville; one daughter, Linda Derr of Poughkeep-sie; two brothers, Willard Wilson of Poughkeepsie, and W.C. Wilson of Batesville; two sisters, Betty Farris of Cave City, and Pat Brown of Batesville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Clara Louise Riggs; three brothers, Arthur Wilson, Minor Wilson and Leonard Wilson; two sisters, Mary Wilson and Bertha Mac Wilson; one granddaughter, Carrie Riggs; and one great-granddaughter, Whitney Riggs.
The funeral services were held Dec. 7 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Walley Varner officiating.
Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were James Riggs, Jerry Rggis, Michael Riggs, Larry Coleman, W.C. Coleman and Henry Farris.
Honorary pallbearers were W.C. Wilson, Ricky Wilson Will Beck and Kevin Mayes.
