Marjorie Berry, age 88, of Thayer, Mo., was born June 30, 1918, in Ripley County, Mo. the daughter of Dan and Della Dodd-Beckham.
She died Jan. 8, 2007, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
She was a homemaker and served as the community nurse for Bardley, Mo.
She was a member of Oak Ridge Church of God in Brian, Mo.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Kellie Berry of the home near Thayer; eight nieces, Geronda and Terry Fuller of Ventura, Calif., Shirley and Frank Parsons of Pevely, Mo., Gay and Gene Beberich of St. Louis, County, Mo., Kay Payne of Ferguson, Mo., Bonnie and Jim Thomas of Springfield, Mo., Pam and Larry Evans of St. James, Mo., Carol Hughes of Phoenix, Ariz., Linda and Gene Falks of Phoenix, Ariz., Dee Banks of West Ridge, Colo.; three nephews, Bill and Ruth Berry of O'Fallon, Mo., Bart Berry of Santa Barbara, Calif., Greg and Sandy Banks of Denver, Colo.; several grand-nieces; and grand nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Della Dodd-Beckham; one brother, Nobel Beckham; and a nephew, Eldon Berry.
The funeral services were held Jan. 11 at the Oak Ridge Church of God with Bro. Wilbur Hunter officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton.
