Opal Ione Moore Dillinger, 85, daughter of the late James Moore and Mary Lou Gaither Moore, was born Aug. 21, 1921, at Byron, Ark. She died Feb. 12, 2007, at Hospice House in the Ozarks in Mountain Home.

She was united in marriage to Hayden Gerald Dillinger on Dec. 27, 1941.

She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Byron Extension Homemakers Club.

Survivors include: her daughter, Amy Dillinger King and son-in-law, Christopher B. King of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Zelabe Montgomery of Kansas City, Mo., and Vinita Sears of Salem; two sisters-in-law, Naomi Hill and Hazel Cochran, both of Salem; 11 nieces; eight nephews and her beloved friend, Doyle Rodgers.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Ralph, J.C., Billy, Oakley and Talmadge Moore and her parents,

The funeral services were held Feb. 15 at Mt. Pisgah Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial following in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
