T. Frank Clark, age 81, of Granite City, Ill., died July 27, 2007, at the University Nursing and Rehabilitation in Edwards-ville, Ill. He was born Jan. 20, 1926, in Myrtle, Mo., and was the son of the late B.L. and Ora (Crass)?Clark.
He married Ellouise Moss on June 16, 1946, in Myrtle. She preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 1987.
Prior to his retirement he was employed many years as a procurement officer at the Corps of Engineers at the Granite City Army Depot, was a member of the Edwardsville ?Moose Lodge, the NRA, was an avid hunter, fisherman, horseshoe player and writer.
He is survived by: five sons and four daughters-in-law, Steve Clark of Granite City, Kenny and Robin Clark of Granite City, Jeff and Wanda Clark of Granite City, Mike and Cindy Clark of Edwardsville, Ill., and Mark and Rachel Clark of Maryville, Ill.; one daughter, Sharon Glassford of Joplin, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Clark Eller of Trenton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other extended family; and many friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Terry Clark and by a granddaughter, Cheyanne Glassford.
Funeral services were held July 29 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, Ill, with Rev. Jeff McDonald officiating.
Graveside services and interment followed on?July 30 at the Myrtle Cemetery in Myrtle, Mo., with arrangements by Irwin Chapel.
