High School principal Randy Eagleton informed the board he and A+ coordinator, Lacey Sorrell, had attended graduation ceremonies at Gatewood and Lone Star and had visited with potential A+ students and parents concerning the A+ program. The visit was made in an effort to bring A+ students to the Couch district.

They accepted the resignations of Cindy Johnson and Dian Decker. The board voted to offer Joan Bull a part-time contract to teach Spanish and to offer Lindsley Meyer a position teaching the at risk program and Katie Janes a math and library teaching contract for the upcoming school year.
