Cora C. Bryant, daughter of the late Dick and Mary (Tennison) Ellis, was born on May 4, 1907, in Ballard, Ark. She died March 13, 2007, at the Fulton County Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem at the age of 99.
She was united in marriage to Adolfus Bryant in 1928, at Hardy. She was a loving wife and aunt. She was member of the Salem Church of Christ.
Survivors include 12 nieces and nephews, Wayden Bishop Shirley Church, Cora Vallee, Noble Duke, Ray Duke, Leota Maguffee, Ella Faye Hall, Barbara Mayo, Ladell Marks, Jack Hanley Jim Hanley, Ray Hanley and Oneta Branscum; many great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Fred and Hubert Ellis; and two sisters, Cliffie Duke and Della Tucker.
The funeral services were held March 16 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, with Bro. David Gibson officiating. Interment followed in the Roberts Cemetery at Franklin, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were Bob Maguffee, Marvin Maguffee, Morris Hall, Kim Hall Calvin Hall and Jim Coatney.
Memorials preferred to the Salem Church of Christ.
