The third annual benefit dinner and dance for Fountain Place will be held on Nov. 5.
Entertainment will be provided by the big band sounds of the Pat Henry Band from Little Rock.
"Take a step back in time to when living was simpler. This year's theme will be the sounds of the '40s and '50s. Guests are encouraged to dress in the era of their choice. A trophy will be award to the winning couple. A fantastic trophy has been donated by Custom Laser Graphic of Highland," said a spokesman.
A sit-down dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at Omaha Center in Cherokee Village.
The meal will be prepared by Chef Travis and catered by the staff of Fountain Place. The dance will follow dinner.
Only 300 tickets will be sold. The proceeds will go to Fountain Place, a non-profit, independent living facility. Tickets are $50 each and are tax deductible.
