Glenn O. Cranmer, 77, of Rogers, Ark., died July 9, 2006, at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.
He was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Clyde, Kan., the son of the late Oscar and Mary (Fuller) Cranmer. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was united in marriage to Margaret "Fran" Cochran on Dec. 4, 1970, in Bentonville. He worked for many years as a steel worker and retired after working in maintenance with Tyson Foods.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 341 in Bella Vista, Ark. He was active in the Rogers Bowling League, serving as president of the Thursday Night Classic League, as president of the Friday Night Kegler League, and on the board of directors for Arkansas State Men's Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Fran" Cochran Cranmer of the home; two daughters, Debbie Cranmer of Florida, and Glenda Dawn Cranmer of Kansas; one son, Glenn O. Cranmer II of Missouri; three brothers, Ralph, Bill and Kenny Gene; five sisters, Velda, Sue, Judy, Connie and Pat; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jim; and two sisters, Sharon and Eilene.
The funeral services were held July 14 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland with Rev. Leonard Smith officiating.
Burial followed in the Highland Cemetery. Arrange-ments were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland.
Pallbearers were Delbert Cochran, Jerry Wayne Cochran, David Glen Cochran, Billy Joe Ward, Albert Williams, Troy Morgison, Jimmy Johnson and Stanley Jones.
