Sharon Anne Williams of Mammoth Spring, daughter of the late Joseph Clyde and Sylvia Marie Hill, was born on April 30, 1942, in Reno, Nev. She died July 21, 2006, at her home at the age of 64.
She was united in marriage to Vernon B. Williams on Feb. 1, 1964, at Mammoth Spring and to this union five children were born. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Williams was a homemaker, member of Burks's Chapel Church of Christ, Daughters of the American Revolution (Strawberry River Chapter), Saddle Extension Homemakers Club, and Saddle Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxliary.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon B. Williams of Mammoth Spring; two sons, Robert C. Williams and wife Mellony of Norfork, Va., and Archie V. Williams of Mammoth Spring; a daughter, Mary Kathleen Breedlove and husband Jimmy of Mountain View, Ark.; a sister, Clyda Marie Schuster of Lexington, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jimmy Williams, Bridget Williams, McKinley Raby and Justin Breedlove; great-granddaughter, Ashley Coren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Vincent and John Williams.
Graveside services were held July 24 at the Morriston Cemetery, in Morriston, Ark., with Bro. Ricky Ragsdale officiating.
Interment followed in the Morriston Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home in Salem.
Pallbearers were Robert Schuster, David Schuster, Chuck Crowe, Doug Johnson, Jimmy Breedlove and Josh Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers were Ford Benton, J.D. Hinton, Hugh Laster Jr., Luther Blackburn, Gerald Schuster and George Campbell.
