Marguaret Ethel Villneff Nichols, 87, of Dolph, Ark., died July 1, 2007, at the Community Medical Center of Izard County.
She was born Dec. 13, 1919, the daughter of George Orris and Hilda Deborah Andrews Villneff in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada.
She served in the Canadian Women's Army Corp during World War II.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Calico Rock United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, William Nichols of San Antonio, Texas and Gene Nichols Sr. of Viola; one brother, James Villneff of Dolph; four grandchildren, Gene Nichols Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Jessie Nichols of Dolph, Gayle Nichols of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Clinton Nichols of Mountain Home; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Edward Nichols; one brother, George Villneff; and one sister, Madeline Roush.
Funeral services were held on July 5 at 10 a.m. at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Calico Rock, Ark., with the Rev. Wayne Wood officiating. Interment followed in the Tremble Campground Ceme-tery.
Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Howard Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
Pallbearers were James Villneff, Gene Nichols Jr., Jessie Nichols, Victor Charles, Rusty Bolia, Ray Roush, and Eddie Mills.
Honorary pallbearers were John Villneff and Cecil Wood.
