Leo Trivitt, 89, of Ash Flat, Ark., died May 3, 2008, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. He was born Oct. 1, 1918, at Moun- tain Home, the son of Robert and Cora Lawhorn Trivitt.
He was united in marriage to Eloise Campbell on June 13, 1938, at Hardy.
He was a life long resident of Fulton County, a self-employed timber worker, a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Marines and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: his wife, Eloise Trivitt of the home; four sons, Oscar Trivitt and Bobby Trivitt both of Ash Flat, Jerry Trivitt of Hardy, and Billy Trivitt of Batesville; four daughters, Alice Faye Ham-mock of Liberia, Kan., Dorothy Ferguson of Tumbling Showles, Ark., Judy Hunnicutt of Hardy and Louise Rega of Agnos, Ark.; one brother, J.W. Trivitt of Ash Flat; two sisters, Lovie Ann Denhill and Betty Jo McCallister both of Texas; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held May 6 at the at the Turkey Pen Cemetery located near Hardy, with Bro. Floyd Rikard officiating. Arrangements were by the Higinbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.
