Izard County authorities make arrests

Raymond Rich Boyer, 72, of Oxford was arrested Sept. 17 on a California warrant for felony embezzlement.

Boyer is being incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Facility on an $85,000 bond awaiting extradition to California.

Daniel Yancey, 24, of Brockwell was arrested by Izard County deputies Sept. 22 for a felony stalking warrant.

When officers apprehended Yancey, they found he was carrying a smoking pipe and added the charge of possessing an instrument of crime, according to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence.

Yancey remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

Joshua David Sanders, 28, of Wiseman was arrested Sept. 22 on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

Sanders' fines were related to prior charges of driving on a suspended license, driving while intoxicated and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

He remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a $3,135 bond.
