Winberry, Pendergist to exchange vows

Dr. and Mrs. Alan Winberry of Salem announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lynn, to Mr. Bill Pendergist Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pendergist of Little Rock.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Salem High School. She is currently attending the University of Arkansas School of Interior Design. She also works part-time at Interior Fabrics and Design in Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Loretta Boozer and the late Leland Boozer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Winberry, both of Paragould.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Arkansas Baptist High School in Little Rock and Lyon College of Batesville. He has recently received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is employed by Flake and Kelley Commercial of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Quinton of Brooklyn, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pendergist of McCrory, Ark.

The wedding will be held on Jan. 6, 2007, at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, Ark., at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Clarion Inn in Bentonville, Ark. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
