Carol Langston selected to participate in leadership class

Carol Langston of North Little Rock has been selected to participate in Leadership Arkansas Class II, which is sponsored by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/ Associated Industries of Arkansas.

Langston is vice president for college advancement at Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock. A 1981 graduate of Salem High School, she received a bachelor of science in journalism/public relations from Arkansas State University and a master of business administration from the University of Central Arkansas.

She is past president of the Junior League of North Little Rock, past president of Downtown Business and Professional Women of Little Rock and a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock. She serves on the Riverfest Arkansas Board of Directors and is a member of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club.

Leadership Arkansas gives participants a statewide view of the economic and political challenges that face Arkansas and offers leadership opportunities that expand the impact of community leaders across the state. Leadership Arkansas builds a sense of statewide community by identifying and training individuals with the passion and commitment to become personally engaged in issues, programs and activities aimed at building a better Arkansas. 75 people were selected to participate in this year's class.
